Terms & Conditions

Changement Psychology
Last Updated: October 2025

Welcome to Changement Psychology. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

These terms outline how we provide services, manage information, and communicate with clients. If you have any questions, please contact us at admin@changement.com.au

1. Purpose of this website

This website provides general information about Changement Psychology, our services, and contact details.
The information on this site is for general educational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional psychological, medical, or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you require immediate or crisis support, please contact your GP, local emergency service, or Lifeline on 13 11 14.

2. Professional relationship

Submitting a website enquiry or completing a form does not create a client–psychologist relationship.
A formal therapeutic relationship begins once an appointment is confirmed, and you have completed your consent and intake documentation.

3. Fees and payment

Session fees are confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment is due on the day of your appointment unless otherwise arranged (for example, under a TAC, WorkSafe, or Medicare referral agreement).

If you are eligible for rebates, these can be processed directly through Medicare or your insurer once payment has been received.

4. Cancellation policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee, except in emergency situations.

This policy ensures fairness and allows appointments to be offered to other clients in need.
Please see our full Cancellation Policy for more detail.

5. Confidentiality and privacy

All client information is treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and the APS Code of Ethics.

Your personal and health information will not be shared without your consent, except where required by law (for example, where there is risk of harm or a legal obligation to disclose).

6. Online and telehealth sessions

Telehealth consultations are offered to provide flexible access to psychological services.
By booking a telehealth session, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for ensuring a private, secure, and distraction-free environment

  • Technical interruptions may occur, and alternative arrangements (such as rescheduling or phone consultation) may be offered

  • Confidentiality protections apply to online sessions just as they do in-person

7. Limitation of liability

While every effort is made to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, Changement Psychology makes no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability, or suitability of website content.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

8. External links

This website may include links to other websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.
Changement Psychology is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of linked sites.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, and images—is the property of Changement Psychology unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this website without written permission.

10. Changes to terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, practice operations, or professional standards.
Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this website.
